begins with an in-depth client consultation to determine needs and serve

Once the proposal is accepted, a detailed schedule of preparation is set in motion for tailoring the auction strategy to the client's needs. In the field, our on-site supervisor guides the proper set-up. If desired, we will arrange for required repairs, cleaning, painting and moving of equipment. Finally, Auction Resource will categorize and tag each item to be sold and recommend placement on the auction site. |
While equipment set-up proceeds, our creative marketing specialists photograph major items for inclusion in our colorful auction brochure and other elements of our advertising program. Our advertising staff ascertains the proper mix of newspaper, trade journal and broadcast media and then produces appropriate messages to reach the maximum potential buyers of the items to be sold. A targeted audience for a direct mail program will be selected from our constantly updated computerized mailing lists to receive our auction brochure. A buyer's guide cataloging each items to be sold will be published for distribution to each registered bidder.
In addition, we handle the myriad details of staging the auction. We recommend whether an on-site or color slide auction will engender the most cost-effective traffic and return for the client. If desired, we will arrange for adequate parking, supervise security personnel for checkout and handling of inventory, have a standby mechanic to start engines, provide night security and arrange for catering on sale day.

sales proceeds, including applicable taxes, for deposit into an escrow

same, a recap of the auction is prepared, converting everything from final
sales tallies and detailed expenses of vendor and auction company charges
to a complete printout of equipment sold. Lastly, under terms of our
contract, final settlement of proceeds is delivered to the client.
